Q22 What does God say to those who are actively watching for the end of all things?
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 1 Thessalonians 5:4,5.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 1 Thessalonians 5:6
Q23 How many signs will be seen happening altogether just before Jesus returns?
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Matthew 24:33
Q24 After the signs what does the Bible say is the next event to come?
They shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:31
Q25 Why is this such a solemn occasion for all people?
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Revelation 22:11,12
NOTE: Once Jesus has come there will be no changing sides. The rewards will have been given. All will have chosen their destiny, and God will abide by their decision. Now is the time of choice. ‘Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.’
Q26 What admonition does God give to those of us living as these prophecies fulfil?
What manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness? 2 Peter 3:11.
Wherefore beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye be found of Him in peace, without spot and blameless. 2 Peter 3:14
NOTE: All the prophecies have been fulfilled completely up until this point. Very few remain outstanding. In the words of Peter—Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18.
