Q1 Who was the Bible specifically written for?
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 1 Cor10:11
Q2 What were the last promises Jesus made before He went back to heaven?
I will come again. John 14:3
Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20
Q3 What will the end of the world be like?
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. 2 Peter 10-12
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13
Q4 Why is Jesus’ return a blessed hope for those who love Him?
The earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
NOTE: All that we have hated or felt fear of in this world will be destroyed. Prisons, camps, weapons, hospitals, nuclear sites, reminders of war, graveyards and cemeteries and more. The pollution that lies everywhere, with its chemical danger will be cleansed away. With this promise we know these things are not going to last forever to affect many future generations. The end is coming! |
