At-a-glance …

Daniel 7

Four beasts

And a judgement

Jesus is the judge.

The final call from God.

The end of this world as we know it.

NOTE:  Notice here that Satan says ‘I will’ 5 times..  These are the words of a being whose mind has become deranged.  His actions and anger and destructions bear this out.

Q13 In the Garden of Eden, Satan openly questioned the penalty of death that God had said would be the result of breaking the law of God, but here in the last stages of Satan’s desperate attempt for supremacy what is his final act?

He shall think to change times and laws.  Daniel 7:25.

NOTE: To change the laws of a Government is to bring down a government and declare it null and void.  It is at this point in the prophecy, as the changing of God’s laws is becoming an issue connected with force, that God steps in with the Judgement of all time,  revealing to all, the evidence of both sides to show where the Truth lies.  God has always warned and pleaded and invited the human race to come to Him, but Satan uses force and anger and persecution and destruction to develop his plans.

Q14 How many will be involved in this judgement?

  • For he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.  Psalm 96:13
  • Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.  LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?  How long shall they utter  and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves? They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.  Psalm 94:2-5
  • God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: Ecclesiastes 3:17
  • Let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.  Romans 3:4
  • Of judgment, because the prince of this world  [i.e. Satan] is judged.  John 16:11
  • And he [Jesus] commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.  Acts 10:42

Q15 Who will be the Judge in this judgement?

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.  Acts 17:31

NOTE:  The One that was raised from the dead is Jesus.  Jesus is our Judge.

Q16 Who else is involved in the judging process and whom do they judge?

Know ye not that we shall judge angels?  Do ye not know that the saints [God’s faithful people]shall judge the world?  1 Corinthians 6:2,3

NOTE: The accused, who is God Himself, plus those who follow Him,  and the accuser Satan and those who followed him will face this judgement, and both the living and the dead who are sleeping in their graves.  No rewards have yet been given. The angels who rebelled against God will come into this judgement too.  At its end, and it is a process not a single event, no-one will have any doubt about God’s integrity.  All beings will have had access to all the information available, and all will have to admit that God was telling the Truth  and Satan was not.  ‘Just and true are thy ways, thou king of saints…. Thy judgements are made manifest.’  Revelation 15:3.

This will leave a clean universe with no lingering doubts or questions that could start the whole problem of evil off again.  ‘Affliction shall not rise up the second time.’  Nahum 1:9  God is telling us what He has already foreseen will happen, and God does not lie.
