And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. Revelation 16:1
NOTE: All the action which instigates the seven last plagues takes place in the temple in heaven.
The miracle will be that the plagues do not directly affect the people who have chosen to follow the Creator God. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High thy habitation, there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Psalm 91: 8-10.
Q8 What will be the culminating event of the seven last plagues?
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Revelation 1:7
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Revelation 6:15-17
NOTE: The seven last plagues will be as the approaching footsteps of the One who has been maligned and blamed for so much in this world. We have so often heard said, Why does God do nothing about the evil in the world? Now, as the seven last plagues are complete He will make His appearance in all His glory, and all who have turned from Him will be overcome by terror. Suddenly all the bold statements of those who have said there is no God, and have followed philosophy or science as their god, or their idol, will be confronted by the living God of heaven. They will not be able to stand, but will try to flee from that glorious presence.
Q9 How does the Bible describe the coming of Jesus and the end of world?
And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. Revelation 14:14-16
The harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13:39-42
Q10 Will there be another chance for them to turn to God?
The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. Jeremiah 8:20
Q11 What will be seen, heard and felt when Jesus comes again in glory?
Those things that will be seen:
And they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 24:30 |
