Q5 With strong efforts Jesus overcame all Satan’s temptations to lead Him into sin. How does this help us?
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Hebrews 2:17,18.
Q6 What level of spiritual development is God looking for?
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. Eph 4:13
NOTE: This is referring to our character. This means that while living here on earth we grow a character to become as Jesus was, while He was on this earth. A ‘character’ is made up of our thoughts and feelings, and our words and actions. In these areas we can choose how we are and what we do. Jesus was tempted in all points like as we are yet without sin. He has promised to help us to be able to live like this too. If we learn to be like our Example here, we shall be safe to inherit a brand new earth with no evil.
