Welcome To Truth For Today Bible Study Modules

• All around us seems to be self-introspection - personal media devices, games, computers - a safe way of shutting things out of our space, perhaps? Maybe the acquisition of goods and things. Or quiet despair and unnamed fears? There is a sense of tiredness and inside emptiness. Spiritually we seem to be alone in a desert of life-sapping weariness.

• Is there no end to it? And yet we do not know what we would like that end to be. Everything is in a state of increasing crisis and anxiety. Perplexities abound, but who has solutions? And where do I stand in all this, and more importantly does anyone care?

The study modules of the Truth for Today Bible Study Course examine the whole situation—our personal needs, the trends in our world, religious issues, where all our problems began, and of most interest, God’s intention to make a quick end to it all.

The modules unfold gradually from first to last. You would be advised to follow them through in sequence, maybe using the At-a-glance sidebar, but then going back and looking at the Scriptures in more detail.

The Bible, the Word of God, is the text for these modules and you will see that the keynote is Victory. The victory of good over evil, with its lethargy and drain on our daily lives. Victory over the spoiling of this earth. Victory over pain and death. And for the victors over temptation, the triumphant joy of a new world. Victory over all evil for all time. Can this be true?

The Bible reveals prophecy after prophecy telling of God’s plan of victory. There is a way out, to a place where all is clean. A place where the heart will lift with gladness and it is forever springtime. A place of new life and new joys.
